Essence de Roussanne 2009: 92

Bright gold. An intensely perfumed, sexy bouquet displays white peach, mango and lemon curd,
with a powerful mineral overtone. Dry and nervy on entry, then broader and almost sweet
in the mid-palate, offering intense pit fruit and candied citrus flavors.
A floral note builds with air and carries through a long, waxy, spicy finish. Wild stuff,
with impressive clarity and punch. This fruit was sourced from the Booker
and James Berry vineyards and was raised in 100% new French oak.
