L'Imprévu

You might already know this by now, but this is the last vintage our Pinot Noir wine. Created in 2013, it means “unexpected”, unique.  Something we didn’t think we will do in our portfolio, a Pinot Noir from Bien Nacido, down in Santa Maria, with a much cooler climate than Paso Robles. Soft but spiced, very well balanced with great texture and acid carried by the old vines they grow on.  Get your hands on or you might never get any! It has aged in neutral barrel with 20% new oak French oak for 16 months.
