2022 Fleur de Solène
Homage to my sweet Solène, born from Bordeaux, who loves to drink this wine. The first vintage called “Petite Solene” was established in 2008 originally with only Syrah and grenache. The switch to Fleur de Solène happened in 2014 when we added 20% Cabernet Franc. After this vintage we couldn’t find another source of fruit so we switched to Cabernet Sauvignon. We're excited to say this year has 12% Cabernet Franc coming from our newly producing Rive Gauche block! Beautiful texture, velvety, very complex but so soft and it keeps coming.
